Power Juicer A power juicer can be considered a manual juicer that has been given a new lease on life. No longer content to focus solely on citrus fruit, the power juicer seeks to liquefy everything and anything that comes near it. Power juicers, geared toward health conscious people who plan to make their juicer a regular part of their daily activities, typically boast much more power than conventional juicers and are designed with rigorous usage in mind.
Power juicers usually go a complete job. What this means
is that if people place, say, a pear into a power juicer, the juicer will
liquefy the pear so that all nothing is wasted in the process. Most juicers
separate the pulp from the juice so that a user can drink the juice and
then discard of the pulp. But when users throw out the pulp, they also
throw away a lot of nutrients. Many power juicers avoid this scenario
by liquefying the entire fruit. Another factor that differentiates power
juicers from regular juicers is the amount of time it takes to liquefy
the fruit. With the former, fruit is reduced into liquid in seconds; with
the latter, it typically takes a bit longer, though not much longer.
